La Floresta, a small village just a few kilometers from Barcelona, remains an untamed, wild, chaotic territory that has been reinventing itself in alternative ways of life.

Located in a unique natural environment, it has attracted people who seek to live away from more conventional ways. We can find condensed initiatives based on solidarity, self-management and community. In this report, we have highlighted small, interconnected stories: the recovery of orchards and the sale of their products on an in the town center; the production of handmade bread and direct sales to neighbors; the launching of the Art Ship, an old chicken farm that now houses more than a dozen artists from different disciplines. And this is all before mentioning the town square, where many people mingle and meet, and where we can find the most amazing images.
